【摘要】:Testingmachinesthatapplyandindicatetorqueareusedinmanyindustries,inmanyways.Theymaybeusedinaresearchlaboratorytomeasurematerialproperties,andinaproductionlinetoqualifyaproductforshipment.Nomatterwhattheenduseofthemachinemaybe,itisnecessaryforuserstoknowtheamountoftorquethatisapplied,andthattheaccuracyofthetorquevalueistraceabletotheNationalStandards.Thisstandardprovidesaproceduretoverifythesemachinesanddevices,inorderthattheindicatedtorquevaluesmaybetraceable.Akeyelementtohavingtraceabilityisthatthedevicesusedinthecalibrationproduceknowntorquecharacteristics,andhavebeencalibratedinaccordancewithPracticeE2428.Thisstandardmaybeusedbythoseusing,thosemanufacturing,andthoseprovidingcalibrationservicefortorquecapabletestingmachinesordevicesandrelatedinstrumentation.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresandrequirementsforthecalibrationoftorqueforstaticandquasi-statictorquecapabletestingmachinesordevices.Thesemay,ormaynot,havetorqueindicatingsystemsandincludethosedevicesusedforthecalibrationofhandtorquetools.Testingmachinesmaybecalibratedbyoneofthethreefollowingmethodsorcombinationthereof:1.1.1Useofstandardweightsandleverarms.1.1.2Useofelastictorquemeasuringdevices.1.1.3Useofelasticforcemeasuringdevicesandleverarms.1.1.4Anyofthemethodsrequireaspecificuncertaintyofmeasurementandatraceabilityderivedfromnationalstandardsofmassandlength.1.2Theproceduresof1.1.1,1.1.2,and1.1.3applytothecalibrationofthetorque-indicatingsystemsassociatedwiththetestingmachine,suchasascale,dial,markedorunmarkedrecorderchart,digitaldisplay,etc.Inallcasesthebuyer/owner/usermustdesignatethetorque-indicatingsystem(s)tobecalibratedandincludedinthereport.1.3Sinceconversionfactorsarenotrequiredinthispractice,eitherenglishunits,metricunits,orSIunitscanbeusedasthestandard.1.4Torquevaluesindicatedondisplays/printoutsoftestingmachinedatasystemsx2014;betheyinstantaneous,delayed,stored,orretransmittedx2014;whichareCalibratedwithprovisionsof1.1.1,1.1.2or1.1.3oracombinationthereof,andarewithinthex00B1;1%ofreadingaccuracyrequirement,complywiththispractice.1.5Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthisstandard:Forpurposesofdeterminingconformancewiththesespecifications,anobservedvalueoracalculatedvalueshallberoundedx201C;tothenearestunitx201D;inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththeroundingmethodofPracticeE29,forUsingSignificantDigitsinTestDatatoDetermineConformancewithSpecifications.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
