【摘要】:ThistestmethodissimilartoTestMethodD4367withtheexceptionthatcapillarycolumnsareusedandintendedfortracelevelofbenzeneinhydrocarbonsolvents.Theneedfortracebenzeneanalysisinhydrocarbonsolventsarosebecauseoftheincreaseofmorestringentregulationofbenzenelevelinthesematerials.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationbycapillarygaschromatographyoftracebenzeneinhydrocarbonsolventsatlevelsfrom1.0to2400vppm.Note1Lowerlevelsofbenzenemaybedeterminedbythistestmethod.Howeverthegaschromatography(GC)willhavetobemodifiedfromthosespecifiedinthistestmethod.Theprecisionofthemethodmaynotapplytotheselowerbenzenelevels.1.2Forhazardinformationandguidance,seethesupplier''sMaterialSafetyDataSheet.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestatement.ThevaluesinparenthesisaregivenforinformationonlyandarenotnecessarilytheexactequivalentoftheSIunitvalues.1.4Forpurposesofdeterminingconformanceofanobservedoracalculatedvalueusingthistestmethodtorelevantspecifications,testresult(s)shallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewithPracticeE29.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
