【摘要】:1PurposeThisInternationalStandardidentifiestheactivitiesandtasksthatarenecessarytosuccessfullyidentify,define,select,apply,andimprovesoftwaremeasurementwithinanoverallprojectororganisationalmeasurementstructure.Italsoprovidesdefinitionsformeasurementtermscommonlyusedwithinthesoftwareindustry.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotcataloguesoftwaremeasures,nordoesitprovidearecommendedsetofmeasurestoapplyonsoftwareprojects.Itdoesidentifyaprocessthatsupportsdefiningasuitablesetofmeasuresthataddressspecificinformationneeds.2FieldofapplicationThisInternationalStandardisintendedtobeusedbysoftwaresuppliersandacquirers.Softwaresuppliersincludepersonnelperformingmanagement,technical,andqualitymanagementfunctionsinsoftwaredevelopment,maintenance,integration,andproductsupportorganisations.Softwareacquirersincludepersonnelperformingmanagement,technical,andqualitymanagementfunctionsinsoftwareprocurementanduserorganisations.ThefollowingareexamplesofhowthisInternationalStandardcanbeused:·Byasuppliertoimplementasoftwaremeasurementprocesstoaddressspecificprojectororganisationalinformationrequirements.·Byanacquirer(orthird-partyagents)forevaluatingconformanceofthesupplier'ssoftwaremeasurementprocesstothisInternationalStandard.·Byanacquirer(orthird-partyagents)toimplementasoftwaremeasurementprocesstoaddressspecifictechnicalandprojectmanagementinformationrequirementsrelatedtotheacquisition.·Inacontractbetweenanacquirerandasupplierasamethodfordefiningthesoftwareprocessandproductmeasurementinformationtobeexchanged.3TailoringthisInternationalStandardThisInternationalStandardcontainsasetofactivitiesandtasksthatcompriseasoftwaremeasurementprocessthatmeetsthespecificneedsofsoftwareorganisationsandprojects.Thetailoringprocessconsistsofmodifyingthenon-normativedescriptionsofthetaskstoachievethepurposeandoutcomesofthesoftwaremeasurementprocess.Allnormativeclausesshallbesatisfied.NewactivitiesandtasksnotdefinedinthisInternationalStandardmaybeaddedaspartoftailoring.4ConformanceConformancetothisInternationalStandardisdefinedassatisfyingthepurposeandoutcomesofthemeasurementprocessandallofthenormativeclauseswithinthetasksinClause5.AnyorganisationimposingthisInternationalStandardasaconditionoftradeisresponsibleforspecifyingandmakingpublicalltask-specificcriteriatobeimposedinconjunctionwiththisInternationalStandard.ThroughoutthisInternationalStandard,"shall"isusedtoexpressaprovisionthatisbindingonthepartythatisapplyingthisInternationalStandard,"should"toexpressarecommendationamongotherpossibilities,and"may"toindicateacourseofactionpermissiblewithinthelimitsoftheInternationalStandard.Itistheresponsibilityoftheorganisationtomaintainappropriateevidenceofsatisfactionofthenormativeclausesforpurposesofdemonstratingconformance.5LimitationsThisInternationalStandarddoesnotassumeorprescribeanorganisationalmodelformeasurement.TheuserofthisInternationalStandardshoulddecide,forexample,whetheraseparatemeasurementfunctionisnecessarywithintheorganisation,whetherthemeasurementfunctionshouldbeintegratedwithinindividualsoftwareprojects,oracrossprojects,basedonthecurrentorganisationalstructure,culture,andprevailingconstraints.ThisInternationalStandardisnotintendedtoprescribethename,format,orexplicitcontentofthedocumentationtobeproduced.TheInternationalStandarddoesnotimplythatdocumentsbepackaged,orcombinedinsomefashion.ThesedecisionsarelefttotheuseroftheInternationalStandard.Themeasurementprocessshouldbeappropri
