【摘要】:Drytonersforuseinelectrostaticcopiersandprintersarenormallyfree-flowingpowdersatroomtemperatures.Theyareoftenformulatedtofuseatelevatedtemperaturesaspartoftheelectrostaticprintingandcopyingprocess.Thespecifictemperatureatwhichfusingtakesplacehasimplicationsofprematurechangeinthephysicalcharacteristicsofagiventoner,definedasblockingorcaking.Thisisundesirable,butcanresultwhenthedrytonerissubjectedtotemperaturesintherangeofitsfusingpointduringconditionsoftransport,storage,orlocalhandling;aswellastotheenvironmentalparametersinagivenlocationaftertheproductisintroducedandheldforuseinthemachinereservoiritself.1.1Thispracticecoversthedeterminationofthetemperatureatwhichadrytonerwillcakeasstoragetemperaturesareraised.1.2Incertaincasestheeffectsofpressureorpressurecombinedwithheatcancauseblockingandcakingofadrytoner.Thisrecommendedpracticedoesnotprovideforevaluationofsuchpressureeffects.1.3Thispracticeconsistsoftestingsamplesatcontrolledtemperaturesandevaluatingthemforanysignofblockingafteraspecifiedperiod.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
